Online shopping is more common today than ever before.
This covid- 19 pandemic had forced many of us
to shift towards a more digital world and this has changed
our shopping behavior. Our elderly used to buy groceries from
local shop and then we use to buy from big departmental stores and
then from big malls. And now after this pandemic most of you buy your
groceries online. There are some benefits and drawbacks of online shopping-
Let us first see the-
Benefits of online grocery shopping-
- Due to growing technology-It has become very convenient & easy
to order online from your mobile app. They are open 24/7, so
that you can buy at your own time schedule.
- Some give free home delivery. Which save your time and fuel.
- You get big discounted deals and offers.
Now let us see the drawbacks of online grocery shopping-
- You buy more quantity than your requirements
as you are lured with discount with bulk purchase. And
some time what happen that -the product which you had got
extra gets spoiled before used. As many times the discounted
product have near to expiry date.
- You tend to buy more stuffs than you actually need
just because there is some (so called) good scheme.
- Many times, this online retailer offer free shipping but
they make you to meet minimum purchase to
qualify for it. Also, they set their limited time period offers.
And, this leads you to buy extra products.
- Online shopping makes you wait for the products
for days or weeks and when you buy from local store
you walk with the product at same time.
Now a days, most of the local kirana stores are
also taking orders on phone & doing free home delivery.
